Yesterday I took the Tilt to the gym and was happy with the 3G support. It is fast. However it takes a bit for the requested webpage to be "Located". On the bottom of the web browser it says "Locating". After it locates the website it displays the web page quickly. 3G is the way to go. 3G is the future. I am sold.
I have also paired the device with a H700 headset. The voice quality was ok. I would say the same as with 8125. My experience with Bluetooth headsets have been mixed. I have notice myself and other people doing this: We use the headset for several days and then we don't want to be bothered any more. I had thought with the new phone my experience would be better, but it is just ok. The sound is not crystal clear, but it is good.
Dialing numbers. I had this same experience with the old model. I touch the buttons to dial a number and there is a delay in displaying the number. Also when I go through my voicemails and I press "*" the phone thinks I have pressed "9". Strange...this happened several times.
The phone is snapier than the old 8125. Menus come up quicker. One issue I had with old model was that it would stop printing letters on the screen while I was typing a txt or an email. It was very frustrating. All of a sudden the device would freeze. This one does not seem to do it. But I will test it more tomorrow. Tomorrow I will be using it more as it is a business day.
Well that is it for today.
